  • Account information: email address and password, managed through our authentication provider
  • Profile information: display name, username/handle, and avatar that you provide during onboarding or in account settings
  • User-generated content: posts, comments, votes, and reports you submit through the Service
  • Waitlist and invite data: email address, optional reason for joining, and invite codes submitted through the waitlist
  • Usage analytics: anonymized page-view and interaction data collected through Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies or track personal information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and maintain your account and access to the Service
  • Display your content within the spaces and contexts where you posted it
  • Send transactional emails such as email verification and password reset messages
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and respond to user reports
  • Improve the reliability and performance of the Service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies and Sessions

We use HTTP-only session cookies to keep you signed in. These cookies are essential for authentication and do not track you across other websites. Our analytics provider (Umami) operates without cookies.

4. Third-Party Processors

The Service relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Neon Database: authentication and database hosting
  • Resend: transactional email delivery (verification, password reset, notifications)
  • Umami: privacy-focused, cookie-free web analytics
  • Cloudflare R2: avatar image storage
  • Netlify: application hosting and deployment

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page, which removes your profile information from the Service. If you wish to request deletion of specific data, you may contact us at [email protected].

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last updated.
